East End Arts School Faculty Showcase Exhibit

The East End Arts is thrilled to announce the Faculty Showcase Exhibit featuring the work of seven instructors from East End Arts School at the East End Arts’ Gallery, located at 133 East Main Street in Riverhead, NY. The opening reception for this exhibit is Friday, September 28, from 5 PM to 7 PM.

The art will reflect the techniques that each instructor will be teaching in the upcoming semester. Participants are:


Tom Brydelsky (encaustic painting instructor)

Miranda Gatewood (digital photography instructor)

Tanya Kaiser (arts immersion workshops for young people)

Elizabeth Nehls (painting and drawing instructor)

Monica Ray (botanical drawing instructor)

Adam Straus (oil painting instructor)

Laura Stroh (water abstracts; painting in oils and acrylics instructor)

Running concurrently with the Faculty Showcase will be an Artist Showcase Exhibit in the Piano Gallery at East End Arts. Featured there will be photographer James Slezak with work from his Reflection Series, capturing images from a fishing dock in Hampton Bays. Also featured in the Artist Showcase Exhibit will be collage artist Steve Palumbo who loves to work with paper in all its forms, from Japanese paper to newspapers. An opening reception with these artists present will also be Friday, September 28th, from 5-7 PM.


East End Arts, established in 1972, is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit arts organization, and operates a School of the Arts, an Art Gallery, and presents a variety of events and programs to promote the arts year-round. Proceeds from all events, sales, classes, donations, and memberships benefit the mission and commitment to building and enriching our community through the arts by way of education, support, advocacy, and inspiration.
