Curator-led tour through newest art exhibition

On Sunday, March 25 at 2 p.m., Cynthia Roznoy, Ph.D., Curator of the Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury, CT, will lead a guided tour through Jane Peterson: At Home and Abroad, the newest art exhibition at the Long Island Museum.
Visitors will have an insider’s look at the creative output of this modernist painter, as presented in this retrospective exhibition. Dr. Roznoy will give a Power Point presentation of Jane Peterson’s life and career, followed by a tour of the exhibition, which she organized, highlighting some of Peterson’s key paintings.

Cynthia Roznoy, curator of the Mattatuck Museum, has organized more than thirty exhibitions of American art and history and has written essays for the catalogues that accompanied them. She is currently at work on an exhibition of Sol LeWitt gouache paintings. She received her PhD. From the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.
