North Shore Pro Musica Returns to LIM

Sunday, January 28 at 5 p.m.
The performance will feature music for a woodwind quintet.

The North Shore Pro Musica chamber music series was developed at LIM in 2014 to expand on the museum’s music and cultural programs in the Three Village Area.  The group previously held performances at the Cultural and Education Center in the Stony Brook Village but changed venues to take advantage of the museum’s expanding music efforts.  Concerts will continue for the 2016-17 season through April, 2017. For a complete schedule, visit www.northsorepromusica.org.

Founded in 1980, North Shore Pro Musica has gained recognition for innovative programming and diversity of repertoire. One of their goals is to present substantial works by living composers. Through outreach efforts to people of all ages, they continue to enrich the musical appreciation of the Long Island community.

The January performance will take place in the Carriage Museum’s Gillespie Room.
Tickets are $20 per person or $18 for Long Island Museum members and students, and are available at the door.  Please call the museum (631) 751-0066 for more information or visit the North Shore Pro Musica website at www.northshorepromusica.org.
