Inter-Sections: Landscape Architecture and the Environment

The Aesthetics of Sustainability

June 9, 6 pm

Join us for an animated presentation and conversation between Chris Reed, founder and director of the landscape firm Stoss, and Alex Matthiessen, president of the eco-political consulting firm Blue Marble Project as they explore how landscape design can weave together aesthetics, human activity, natural forces, and the built environment. This program is planned in conjunction with Landscape Pleasures.

Friday nights are made possible, in part, by the generous support of The Corcoran Group, Bridgehampton National Bank, and Sandy and Stephen Perlbinder. Modern Luxury is the media sponsor of Friday Nights.

The Museum’s exhibitions and programs are made possible, in part, by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and the property taxpayers from the Southampton Union Free School District and the Tuckahoe Common School District.
