East End Arts: Fund-Raising Drive 2017 for Education, Exhibits & Performances

For 45 years the East End Arts Council has served the community providing a creative base of support for visual and performing artists through our education programs, network of galleries and performance locations across the East End. It is through active support of like minded people that value the arts, that we are able to do this. However, today we find ourselves challenged by diminished support for the arts from a number of sources and are turning to you for assistance.
Examples from our education program help to high light the importance of your contribution. One young man, who studied at our school for a number of years, was able to use this experience to secure a full college scholarship and went on to sing with the Boston Pops and perform at Carnegie Hall. Another student who studied piano on full scholarship at EEA School was invited to be the guest performer at the Long Island Music Hall of Fame Induction ceremony. A powerful moment made even more remarkable when you consider that he suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome.
Right now is an especially critical time for us to channel our collective passion for the arts. We need your help to continue this work.
It is our goal to raise $50,000 through this appeal and your gift, whether a one-time donation or a monthly contribution as part of our Sustainers’ Pledge, will go directly to this cause.
Communities are stronger when the arts are at their core. Your support is vital for us to continue this important work.
