East End Arts: Open Call — Juried Show — ‘Here Comes The Sun’

Open Call for Artists:

Here Comes the Sun

An East End Arts Gallery Show

Entry Dates: April 19, 20, 21

Show Dates: April 27 – June 8, 2018

The East End Arts Gallery is pleased to announce an open call for artist participation in the upcoming juried, all media art show, Here Comes the Sun, at the East End Arts Gallery, opening with a reception on Friday, April 27 and running through June 8, 2018. The guest juror for this show is Charles Riley II, author, art critic and Director of The Nassau County Museum of Art. The East End Arts Gallery is located at 133 East Main Street in Riverhead, NY.

East End Arts Gallery Director Jane Kirkwood comments on the theme:

Let your art celebrate the coming of spring and summer (finally!) on the beautiful East End of Long Island—or anyplace sunny and wonderful.

Original works in all media may be submitted, including: painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, and sculpture; up to three entries can be submitted per artist. All submissions will be reviewed by the guest juror, who will choose a select number of works that he feels best represents the theme, and those pieces will be included in the exhibit.

All media entries must be dropped off in person at the East End Arts Gallery on:

  • Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM;
  • Friday, April 20, 2018, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM; or
  • Saturday, April 21, 2018, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

For complete details including size restrictions and entry fees, view the prospectus at http://www.eastendarts.org/gallery/here-comes-the-sun-2018.html
