Hampton Theatre Company: 2017 – 2018 Season Schedule of Plays

SEASON 2017-2018

The Hampton Theatre Company is delighted to announce its 33rd season: four terrific plays by gifted and celebrated playwrights.
Doors open on October 26 with Joe DiPietro’s comedy “Clever Little Lies”. Characterized as both shattering and hilarious, “Clever Little Lies” is a laugh-filled story of long-term love and marriage, for better . . . and for worse.
In January, we heat things up with “Venus in Fur” by David Ives, a mysterious, funny and erotic drama. This intelligent and unexpected showdown of the sexes keeps audiences on the edge of their seats as they question who is really in charge.
Spring into March with the moving comedy and drama of Tom Griffin’s “The Boys Next Door,” a touching story  encircling a communal residence of mentally challenged men that gives us an awareness of the things in everyday life that we take for granted.
In June, we conclude our season with Marc Camoletti’s  delightfully funny “Don’t Dress For Dinner.” a bawdy bedroom farce filled with confused alibis, mistresses and secrets.
